Running

When I started running I ran 1 minute and walked 3 minutes. My goal was to run a 5k (3.1 miles) and I couldn't do it when I started. I had to accept myself as I am, then I could (and did) start in on a training program. 12 weeks later I was running a 5k successfully.

Marathons

And now, many years later, I still have to do the exact same thing. It doesn't matter that I now do races of 26.2 miles (marathon distance). I still have to start training at much less distance than a marathon. I accept that I can run 10 miles now, and with training will get back up to that 26.2 mile distance.

Acceptance is not Resignation

When you accept where you are at, you aren't resigning to stay there. You are simply saying, this is me NOW.  You see the NOW clearly and that means you are better able to see the FUTURE clearly as well.

Who Do You Want To Be?

Admit who you are NOW and start your journey!
