“I Think The World Is Run By C Students.” – Al Mcguire
How scary is that! And it is true. Then again getting As on report cards isn’t exactly a sure sign of intelligence or ability, just as being able to successfully campaign for president doesn’t mean you will be a good president, as we have seen again and again over the decades.

>True enough. The problem I suppose is if the C student was simply just a lazy spoiled slacker who didn’t apply him or herself and thus didn’t really run things very well.
It is important to know though that many C students are simply people who haven’t found their passion yet. Once they find it they become A performers in that arena.
Likewise an A student in school can easily flake out once the arbitrary rules and goals of the academy are done away with. They have no one outside themselves to define what it is they are suppose to do and thus they end up doing very little.
I say the B students are getting short shrift here too! What about us!
>Sometimes “A” students are insecure and trying very hard to validate that they are okay. So they work hard to please their instructors and strive to get the gold star. Of course sometimes “A” students are just really, really smart. : )
Many times “C” students make great entrepreneurs because they don’t really care all that much about following each and every little rule of grammar or about all of the other conventions sometimes necessary to get an “A”. They may be more interested in a different result. The bottom line is society is an alphabet soup and we all have an important part to play.
